Atamira shares her appreciation for two of Te Ika Whenua’s long-serving GPs. Here’s what she wrote….
My doctor has been Dr Bernard Conlon since I was a kid. Growing up as a teen I would fill in forms jotting down Dr Conlon’s name. Now as an adult I think that every great man has a strong woman behind him like Dr Britta Noske is to Dr Conlon. I am so grateful for our two GPs.
I value, appreciate and respect your professional medical expertise and the care you’ve both provided for our communities over the last 30 years of service as our general practitioners. The dedication and commitment Dr Conlon and Dr Noske, and the entire surgery team, have shown for the health and wellbeing of whānau, hapū and the communities of Te Ika whenua are irreplaceable.
Not one community but five. Not one generation but many, in some way, have benefitted from the professional medical advice and care of Dr Conlon and the Murupara Medical Centre team. Dr Conlon has cared for five generations of my family.
