The communities of Te Ika Whenua came together in support of Dr Bernard Conlon, Dr Britta Noske and the Murupara Medical Centre today (13 November) for the Communities in Unity event.
Hundreds of people congregated at the Murupara Shopping Centre before the haerenga mā raro (walk) got underway after 10 am.
The crowd of hundreds left the shopping centre from Pine Drive to Oregon Drive then headed to Kōwahi Ave and the Murupara Medical Centre before stopping at one of the local Kura.
