Ngā mihi doctors

19 January 2022

Mihi mai ki a Georgina Hohua pictured here with her late Mum, Sarah Hohua.

Georgina shares her words of support for her two doctors:

I’ve known Dr Bernard Conlon and Dr Britta Noske for many years. They have treated me as well as my children and mokopuna since they were babies.

Now, all entering or have entered adulthood. I have nothing but the utmost respect for both GPs.

Bernard has been there for us throughout the time my Dad, Mum and sister fell ill and treated them - and our whānau - with professionalism and respect.

He speaks in easy-to-understand language. Bernard was so good to have around us during those times because he helped lighten the mood and was able to make us laugh with his wit and his jokes.

He’ll always be my doctor. I don't care what anyone says.

Ngā mihi, Bernard and Britta for your exceptional service to our community. Your manaaki has been above and beyond.

Much love, Georgina Hohua
