“Dr Bernard Conlon and Dr Britta Noske are professional to the core. They have been kaitiaki (guardians/ custodians), protectors of our health at the highest level for 30 years.
They are a loyal, devoted, dedicated and compassionate couple who’ve served our people of Te Ika Whenua over that time. They’re also kanohi kitea (seen) on our marae as well as lead and participate in community events.
They have been kaitiaki for us for many years and now our doctor is in strife, our communities of Te Ika Whenua need to be loyal and protect him, to be kaitiaki for him. We owe him that.
Bernard and Britta, kia kaha, kia māia, kia manawanui. Remain strong, be bold and be determined. Why? Because you have done nothing wrong. We stand with you,” says Pem Bird.
