United community support reflects 'respect we have' for Murupara surgery

Mihi mai ki a Josephine Gage and one of the reasons she’s supportive of Dr Bernard Conlon.

“I remember back in 1992 when my parents came for a holiday and mum got sick. She reluctantly came to see you (not the most social of people which is where I get it from) and you were able to calm her anxiety and prescribe something that dealt with whatever was wrong with her at the time.

"This is what I appreciate about you – four generations of our whānau have visited your practice and everyone at the Murupara Medical Centre (MMC) has become a part of our whānau. We’ve seen staff come and go and come back again, we’ve spoken to locums and trainee doctors who have been privileged to come under your supervision.

"We are positive that they have gone off into their respective areas of medical expertise and taken the multiple wisdoms that you have imparted, the generosity of spirit and a willingness to embrace diversity. Our communities uniting to support you is a reflection of the respect that we have for you, Britta and all of our whānau at MMC. Tātou katoa - Tātou ka toa - Strength in Unity. - Hue Rangi.
